やのはしる（箭の走る）事は 弓のちから・くもの ゆくこと（雲の行く事）は りう の ちから（竜の力）、　をとこ の しわざ（男の仕業） は め の ちから（女の力）なり、　いま（今）ときどの（富木殿）のこれ へ御わたり（渡り）ある事 尼ごぜん（尼御前）の御力（おん ちから）なり

通解

矢が飛ぶのは弓の力があるからであり、雲が流れるのは竜の力であるといわれているように、男性（夫）の振舞いは女性（妻）の力のおかげである。今、富木殿がここ（身延の地）まで来られたのは、奥様である尼御前の内助の功によるのである。

It is the power of the bow that determines the flight of the arrow, the might of the dragon that controls the movement of the clouds, and the strength of the wife that guides the actions of her husband. In the same way, it is your support that has enabled Toki to visit me here now.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
