日蓮と殿と共に地獄に入るならば釈迦仏・法華経も地獄にこそ・をはしまさずらめ - For if you and I should fall into hell together, we would find Shakyamuni Buddha and the Lotus Sutra there.

設い（たとい）殿の罪 ふかく（深く）して地獄に入り給はば（はいり たまわば） 日蓮を・いかに仏になれと 釈迦仏こしらへ（しゃかぶつ こしらえ）させ給うとも用ひ（もちり）まいらせ候（そうらう）べからず 同じく地獄なるべし、日蓮と殿と共に地獄に入るならば釈迦仏・法華経も地獄にこそ・をはしまさずらめ（おわしまさずらめ）

通解

 もし、あなたの罪が深くて地獄に堕ちるようなことがあれば、日蓮を「仏になれ」と、どんなに釈迦仏から誘われようとも、従うことはないであろう。あなたと同じように、私も共に地獄に入ろう。日蓮とあなたと共に地獄に入るならば、釈迦仏も法華経も、同じく地獄にこそいらっしゃるに違いない。

If you should fall into hell for some grave offense, no matter how Shakyamuni Buddha might urge me to become a Buddha, I would refuse; I would rather go to hell with you. For if you and I should fall into hell together, we would find Shakyamuni Buddha and the Lotus Sutra there.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
