日替わり御書 Daily-Gosho

本文 遠藤殿御育み無くんば命永らう可しや・亦赦免にも預かる可しや、日蓮一代の行功は偏に左衛門殿等遊し候処なり 遠藤左衛門尉御書 （１３３６頁） 文永１１年３月 （１２７４年） 通解（意訳） この佐渡の地で、遠藤殿の様々な守護がなければ、日蓮の命は永らえられたであろうか。また、今回の佐渡流罪の赦免を受け、生きて本土へ帰ることができたであろうか。何もない佐渡に居ながら、数々の重要な書物を、我が弟子達に書き記す事ができた。この日蓮一代の行功は、ひとえに遠藤左衛門殿をはじめ、佐渡でお世話になった方々のおかげである。 English Gosho  Without your protection, could I possibly have sustained my life? Could I have survived to be pardoned?  My life’s achievements are due entirely to you and to those like you. Interpretation (liberal translation) When there is no various protection of Mr. Endo at Sado in a banishment place, would Nichiren's life be able to continue?
