日替わり御書 Daily-Gosho

本文 日蓮等の類い 聖霊を訪う時 法華経を読誦し 南無妙法蓮華経と唱え奉る時 題目の光 無間に至りて 即身成仏せしむ、廻向の文 此れより 事 起るなり、 法華不信の人は 堕在無間（だざいむげん）なれども、題目の光を以て 孝子 法華の行者として訪わんに 豈（あに）此の義に 替わる可しや 御義口伝 序品七箇の大事 第五・下至阿鼻獄の事 （７１２頁） 通解（意訳） 　日蓮とその門下が、聖霊を弔う際に、法華経を誦読し、南無妙法蓮華経と唱え奉る時、題目の光は無間地獄まで至って、即身成仏させることができるのである。回向の勤行・唱題も、生前と同じように聖霊も「仏の生命を成く（ひらく）＝成仏する」という、宇宙に厳然と備わっている生命の原理から起きたものである。 　また、法華経に不信を持ち退転したり、謗法を犯したりした人は、無間地獄におちて苦しまなければならないが、孝行しようとする遺族の方が法華経の行者となり、南無妙法蓮華経と唱え、題目の光で追善供養して差し上げれば、どうしてこの成仏の原理という義に変わる事があるだろうか。 English Gosho  Now when Nichiren and his followers perform ceremonies for the deceased, reciting the Lotus Sutra and chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, the ray of light from the daimoku reaches all the way to the hell of incessant suffering and makes it possible for them to attain Buddhahood then and there.This is the origin of the prayers for transference of merit for the deceased.  Even if persons who had no faith in the Lotus Sutra have fallen into the hell of incessant suffering, as practition...
