本文 始めて我心本来の仏なり知るを即ち大歓喜と名く 所謂南無妙法蓮華経は歓喜の中の大歓喜なり 御義口伝 廿八品に一文充の大事 五百品 （７８８頁） 通解（意訳） 初めて自分自身が本来の仏なのだと知ることを、すなわち大歓喜というのである。 いわゆる南無妙法蓮華経と唱えていくことは、自分自身の仏の境涯を開いていける、歓喜の中の大歓喜なのである。 English Gosho This passage refers to the great joy that one experiences when one understands for the first time that one’s mind from the very beginning has been a Buddha.
