「仏の智慧を以て籌量するも多少其の辺を得ず」 - “[The benefits he gains there will be such that] even the Buddha wisdom could never finish calculating their extent.”

本文 日蓮を供養し 又 日蓮が弟子檀那となり給う事、其の功徳をば 仏の智慧にても・はかり尽し給うべからず、 経に云く「仏の智慧を以て籌量するも多少其の辺を得ず」と云へり にちれんをくようしまたにちれんがでしだんなとなりたもうこと、そのくどくをばほとけのちえにても・はかりつくしたもうべからず、 きょうにいわく「ほとけのちえをもってちゅうりょうするもたしょうそのへんをえず」といえり 諸法実相抄 しょほうじっそうしょう （１３５９頁） 文永１０年５月 （１２７３年） 通解（意訳） 日蓮を供養し、また日蓮の弟子や檀那となられた功徳は、仏の智慧でも量り尽くすことはできない。 これは法華経薬王菩薩本事品第二十三にいわく 「仏の智慧を以て籌量（ちゅうりょう：考え量る）するも多少其の辺を得ず」と説かれているのである。 英語で御書 Gosho in English Not even the wisdom of the Buddha can fathom the blessings that one will obtain by giving alms to Nichiren and by becoming his disciple and lay supporter. 本文 但し御信心によるべし、つるぎなんども・すすまざる人のためには用る事なし、 法華経の剣は信心のけなげなる人こそ用る事なれ鬼に・かなぼうたるべし ただし ごしんじん に よる べし、つるぎ なんども・すすまざる ひと の ため には もちいる こと なし、 ほけきょう の つるぎ は しんじん の けなげ なる ひと こそ もちいる こと なれ おに に・かなぼう たる べし 経王殿御返事 きょうおうどのごへんじ （１１２４頁） 文永１０年８月 （１２７３年） 通解（意訳） ただし、（祈りが叶うかどうかは）信心によるのである。 剣なども、戦いに勝つために前進する勇気のない人のためには何の役にも立たない。 法華経（御本尊）という利剣は、信心の健気な人が用いる時こそ、役に立つのであり、鬼に金棒なのである。 英語で御書 Gosho in English But your faith alone will determine all these things.
