悪知識（あくちしき）と申すは甘くかたらひ（語らい） 詐り媚び（いつわり こび） 言（ことば）を巧（たくみ）にして愚癡の人（ぐち の ひと）の心を取つて善心（ぜんしん）を破るといふ事なり

通解

悪知識という者は、甘い言葉で偽り、媚びて、巧みな言葉や善人のような態度や顔で、無知な人の心に悪を行わせる。そして、悪を作させることをもって人の善心を破る。この善心を破ることを名づけて殺というのである（と、涅槃経二十二について章安大師が説かれている）。

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
