人に物を施せば、かえって我が身を助けることに繋がる。
例えば、人のために灯をともしてあげれば、自分の前も明るくなるようなものである。

- 菩薩の心の信心
「人のため」（利他のため）だけを言うと、傲慢になる。「人を救ってあげている」偽善になる。
自分のためにもなっている事を自覚して、初めて『修行させてもらっている』『学ばせてもらっている』という謙虚さが出る。
自他不二です。
人のために尽くしただけ、自分の生命に福運が積まれる。これが『菩薩道』なのです。- 池田大作

Only by such a way of thinking of the person that become arrogant, and save a person; become hypocritical.
" My action is not only helpful for a person. I learn various things, too."
When such a thought was possible, the body gets a modest heart for the first time.
Oneself made it for a person, and good fortune is acquired for one's life. This is " The mind of the Bodhisattva ".- Daisaku Ikeda.
