日月は、仏法の法味をなめて、威光勢力を増すと経文には説かれている。
日天・月天等の諸天善神（太陽や月等、全宇宙の法理）は、南無妙法蓮華経の題目の声を聞き、味わって、諸天善神としての力を増すのである。
