諸天は法華経の行者 出来せば 磁石の鉄を吸うがごとく 月の水に遷るがごとく
須臾に来つて行者に代り 仏前の御誓をはたさせ給べし

通解（意訳）
諸天善神は、法華経の行者が出来したならば、磁石が鉄を吸うように、月の影がそのまま水に映るように、ただちに来って、かたく法華経の行者を守護し、行者に代わって難を受けもって、仏前の誓いを果たすべきである。

English Gosho
 If a votary of the Lotus Sutra should appear, then, like iron drawn to a magnet or the reflection of the moon appearing in the water,
they will instantly come forth to take on his sufferings for him and thereby fulfill the vow that they made in the presence of the Buddha.

湿れる木より火を出し乾ける土より水を儲けんが如く強盛に申すなり - praying as earnestly as though to produce fire from damp wood, or to obtain water from parched ground.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
