どのような世の乱れが起きても、あなた方弟子達の事を、「法華経・十羅刹女よ、彼らを守護し、助け給え」と、湿っている木に火を着け、乾いた土から水を出すような思いで、強盛に祈っています。　

 　
English Translations

" On Rebuking Slander of the Law and Eradicating Sins "
　
 I am praying that, no matter how troubled the times may become, the Lotus Sutra and the ten demon daughters [ They're The Goodness Gods and Protection  The Believer of The Lotus Sutra. ] will protect all of you, [ and All Nichiren's Disciples, ]  praying as earnestly as though to produce fire from damp wood, or to obtain water from parched ground.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
