" The Day before Yesterday "

A person who propagates the Lotus Sutra is a votary of the Buddhas. And I make bold to declare that, opening the texts delivered on Eagle Peak and in the grove of sal trees, I have come to understand the intentions of the web-footed king, he who bore a knot of flesh. Furthermore, what I predicted with regard to the future has now for the most part been verified. Although I may be no match for the wise men of past ages, among men of this latter age, my kind is rarely to be found.

Interpretation (liberal translation)

A sentence of the Lotus Sutra Buddha explained at Ryoujusen [ Eagle Peak]  and the Nirvana explained by Tsurubayashi  [ in the grove of sal trees ] before a Buddha death was opened and true meaning of Buddha and Buddhahood was realized.
Nichiren worried about future danger of Japan, compared with a Buddhist scripture and considered. And I got that a Mongolian attack [the danger of the invasion from the other country explained by several religion] coincides mostly.
I try to tell this serious matter, and it's described to "On Establishing the Correct Teaching for the Peace of the Land", and it has been submitted to a government.
