日蓮悲母をいのりて候しかば現身に病をいやすのみならず四箇年の寿命をのべたり、今女人の御身として病を身にうけさせ給う・心みに法華経の信心を立てて御らむあるべし

通解（意訳）
　
日蓮が、悲母の重病を祈ったところ、現身に病を治しただけでなく、四年の寿命を延ばした。今、あなたも女性の身として病気になられた。試みに法華経の信心を発して、南無妙法蓮華経と朝夕に唱えて御祈念してごらんなさい。

" On Prolonging One’s Life Span "
　
When I prayed for my mother, not only was her illness cured, but her life was prolonged by four years. Now you too have fallen ill, and as a woman, it is all the more timely for you to establish steadfast faith in the Lotus Sutra and to see what it will do for you.
[ You raise the " Nam - myoho - renge - kyo " , quintessence of a Lotus Sutra , and you pray in a morning and evening on probation, and "I shall cure my sickness certainly. So please give the assistance." ]

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
