題目を唱うる人・如来の使(にょらい の つかい)なり、始中終 すてず(捨てず)して大難を・とをす(通す)人・如来の使なり。
 
四条金吾殿御返事

(1182頁) 弘安元年9月
通解(意訳)
 
題目を唱える人は、凡夫の身でありながら、如来の使いである仏である。また、法華経に縁した最初から臨終の時を迎える最期の時まで、妙法を捨てずに、大難を受けても信心を受持し通す人は、三世にわたる如来の使いなのである。

 
 
English Translations


" The Farther the Source, the Longer the Stream "

 
Who chants the daimoku, is the Thus Come One’s emissary. Also, one who perseveres through great persecutions and embraces the sutra from beginning to end is the Thus Come One’s emissary.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
 
The person who raises daimoku is a messenger of buddha though he's mediocre person's body.
And myoho isn't thrown away until time of its end, end does a Lotus Sutra through even if a great calamity is received, a person is also a messenger of buddha in hereafter.
