仏になる道は必ず身命をすつるほどの事 ありてこそ仏にはなり候らめ - It seems to me that on the path to attain Buddhahood it may invariably be when one has done something like lay down one’s life that one becomes a Buddha.
本より 学文し候し事は 仏教を きはめて（究めて・きわめて）仏になり 恩ある人をも・たすけん と思ふ、仏になる道は 必ず身命をすつる（捨つる）ほどの事 ありてこそ 仏には なり候らめと・をしはからる（推し量る・おしはかる）、既に 経文のごとく 悪口（あっく）・罵詈（ばげん）・刀杖（とうじょう）・瓦礫（がれき）・数数見擯出（さく さく けん ひん ずい）と説かれて かかる め に値い候（あい そうろう）こそ法華経を よむ（読む）にて候らめと、いよいよ信心も おこり 後生も たのもしく（頼もしく）候、死して候はば 必ず 各各（おのおの）をも・たすけ たてまつる（助け 奉る）べし

通解（意訳）もともと、学問の道に進んだきっかけは、仏教を究めて修得して、自分が仏になって幸福になり、恩ある人も助けようと思ったからである。仏になる道は、かならず命を捨てるほどの大難にあってこそ仏の境涯が開かれるのであろう、と思われる。
すでに法華経の経文に「この経を弘める者は悪口を言われ、罵られ、刀で斬られ、杖で打たれ、瓦や小石を投げられ、たびたび所を追われる」と説かれている通りのまま、このように様々な難にあう事で、法華経を身で読んで、自分こそ末法に南無妙法蓮華経を流布する、法華経の行者に間違いないと確信したのである。これらを思い返せば、さらに信心も深く起こってくる。「来世には善処に生まれ、また法華経と縁することが出来る」と経文に問いてあることも、頼もしい思いである。私が死んだならば、仏となり諸天善神となって、必ずあなた方をもお助けするであろう。

" Banishment to Sado "
From the beginning, I pursued my studies because I wanted to master Buddhism and attain Buddhahood, and also to save the people to whom I am indebted. It seems to me that on the path to attain Buddhahood it may invariably be when one has done something like lay down one’s life that one becomes a Buddha. I think that perhaps it is encountering such difficulties as have already been explained in the sutra—being cursed, vilified, attacked with swords and staves, shards and rubble, and banished again and again—that is reading the Lotus Sutra with one’s life. My faith springs up all the more, and I am confident about my next existence. If I should die, I will definitely also save each of you.
[ I was convinced that the ascetic of a Lotus Sutra who rescues all people who appear in Latter age and spreads Nam - myoho - renge - kyo was I myself. When reconsidering these, more belief is also happening deeply.
A sutra said, "I'm born in adequate dealing in hereafter also am led to a Lotus Sutra.", telling is also the thought that they're reliable.
When I died, I'll be Buddha or am all goodness gods, and I'd help you certainly, too. ]
