されば妙楽大師のたまはく「必ず心の固き（かた き）に仮りて（よ りて）神の守り則ち（すなわ ち）強し」等云云、人の心かたければ 神のまほり（まもり）必ずつよしとこそ候へ、是は御ために申すぞ 古へ（いにし へ）の御心ざし（おんこころ ざし）申す計り（ばか り）なし・其（それ）よりも 今 一重強盛（いま いちじゅう ごうじょう）に御志（おん こころざし）あるべし

通解（意訳）
　
（諸天善神が法華経を信ずる人を守護することは間違いないとの道理と先例を挙げて）それゆえに、妙楽大師は「心が堅固であれば、必ず神の守りも強いのである」と言っています。その人の信心が固ければ、諸天善神の守りは必ず強い、ということです。これは、あなたのために申し上げるのです。これまでのあなたの信心の深さは、言い表すことができません。しかし、それよりもなお一層の強盛な信心をしていきなさい。

That is why the Great Teacher Miao-lo stated, “The stronger one’s faith, the greater the protection of the gods.” So long as one maintains firm faith, one is certain to receive the great protection of the gods. I say this for your sake. I know your faith has always been admirable, but now you must strengthen it more than ever.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
