今度生死の縛を切つて仏果を遂げしめ給え - Now is the time to break free from the bonds of this realm of birth and death and to obtain the fruit of Buddhahood !

日蓮 庶幾（しょき）せしむる所に候、各各（おのおの） 用心 有る可し（ある べし）少しも妻子 眷属（さいし けんぞく）を憶う（おもう）こと莫れ（なかれ） 権威を恐るること莫れ、今度 生死の縛（ばく）を切つて 仏果（ぶっか）を遂げしめ給え

 通解
（今まで以上に、日蓮や我が門下に対しての弾圧が強くなり、流罪や死罪に及ぶことは、もはや免れがたい。）
日蓮は望む所である。我が門下生達も、いざという時に備えて心構えて、覚悟を決めておきなさい。
（法難を恐れる事は言うまでもなく、）妻や子供、周囲の同志や友人達のことを思って臆病になってはならない。権威を恐れてはならない。
今こそ生死の縛を切って、成仏を遂げなさい。
　

意訳

 今年、蒙古から通告状が届き、立正安国論に書いた他国侵逼難がいよいよ迫ってきた。これを機に、一日も早く謗法を捨てて、法華経に帰依する必要がある事を、幕府の要人、諸宗・諸大寺の高僧等、十一通の文書を送った。それ故、流罪や死罪等、今まで以上に日蓮と我が門下に法難が起こることは間違いないであろう。
法難に遭うのは、正しく信心をしている証拠であるから、元から日蓮は、望むところである。
我が門下達も、命が惜しいからといって、難そのものを恐れたり、例えその恐れる心が、伴侶や子供、周囲の人を思っての事であっても、決して難が起こる事を恐れてはならない。
権力に対しては、堂々と立ち向かっていきなさい。恐れたりへつらうようであってはならない。
大きな苦難にあったその時こそ、法華経のために不惜身命の信心を奮い起こして、生死や様々な悩みに縛られた自分の縄を断ち切って、地涌の菩薩の使命に目覚めなさい。
必ず自身の法性を呼び起こし、何事にも動じない強い自分へと成長できる、人間革命の大きなチャンスなのである。

" Letter to My Disciples and Lay Supporters "
　
 That [ hardship ] is the sort of response I am hoping for.

All of you should prepare yourselves mentally for what may come. Do not let concern for wife and children or other family members deter you. Do not fear those in authority. Now is the time to break free from the bonds of this realm of birth and death and to obtain the fruit of Buddhahood !

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
 Pressure to Nichiren and my disciples will be the above so far hard, and coming to banishment and capital punishment is difficult to avoid already.
It's the evidence that the belief is made right to meet religious persecution, so Nichiren is that he's hoping more than origin.

 A big trouble happen to itself, too, and my disciples decide the resolution which loses the life.All of you should prepare yourselves mentally for what may come. Do not let concern for wife and children or other family members deter you.
 Do not fear those in authority. Confront openly and squarely to power. They aren't supposed to be afraid and seem to flatter.
When it was in a big hardship, rally belief of determination not sparing one's life for a Lotus Sutra. Cut the rope tied to life and death and various worries off and wake up in your  mission of the Bodhisattvas of the Earth !

 The big chance of the human revolution from which it can grow into strong itself which always evokes the Buddhahood and is upset by nothing.
