釈迦・多宝等の十方 無量の仏・上行 地涌等の菩薩も 普賢・文殊（ふげん・もんじゅ）等の迹化（しゃっけ）の大士も 舎利弗（しゃりほつ）等の諸大声聞（しょだいしょうもん）も・大梵天王（だいぼんてんのう） 日月（にちがつ）等の明主諸天（みょうしゅ しょてん）も・八部王も 十羅刹女（じゅらせつにょ）等も 日本国中の大小の諸神も・総じて 此の法華経を強く信じまいらせて 余念（よねん）なく一筋に信仰する者をば 影の身にそふ（添う）が如く 守らせ給ひ候なり、相構て相構て心を翻へさず（ひるがえさず）・一筋に信じ給ふならば・現世安穏・後生善処（げんせあんのん・ごしょうぜんしょ）なるべし

通解
　
釈迦仏・多宝等の十方の諸仏、無量の仏・上行菩薩、地涌の菩薩ら本門の諸仏、普賢・文殊等の迹門の大士、舎利弗等の諸大声聞も、また大梵天王・日月等の明主諸天も、八部王も、十羅刹女等も、日本国中の大小の諸神も、すべての諸仏・諸天・諸神が、この法華経を強盛に信じて、退転することなく、ただ一筋に信仰する者を、ちょうど影の身に添うようにして守護されるのである。「あらゆる諸天が自分を守護してくださる」という事を疑わず、しっかりと心をひるがえさずに、一筋に信じていけば、現世安穏・後生善処は間違いないのである。
　
意訳
　
どのような困難に直面しても、釈迦仏をはじめとして、あらゆる経典に説かれている仏、天王、神が、法華経の行者を影のように身を添うようにして守護すると誓っているのである。
このことを疑わずに深く信じて、「必ず諸天の加護があるのだから、臆せずに、堂々と困難に立ち向かい、必ず打ち破るのだ」という信心を貫きとおす事が、自己を鍛え、他人の事をも慈悲の心を以って想いやる事ができる、「仏」に成る直道である。
このように信心を貫き通す人は、、安らかで広大な心を持ち、地獄のような如何なる困難も、自己の信心と努力で、寂光土（善処）へと変えていく事ができるのである。　
　
English Translations

"  The Four Virtues and the Four Debts of Gratitude "
　
We know that Shakyamuni, Many Treasures, and the countless Buddhas of the ten directions; Superior Practices and the other bodhisattvas who emerged from the earth; Universal Worthy, Manjushrī, and the other bodhisattvas of the theoretical teaching; Shāriputra and the other great voice-hearer disciples; the great heavenly king Brahmā, the gods of the sun and moon, and the other heavenly lords and deities; the eight kinds of nonhuman beings; the ten demon daughters; as well as the great and small deities of the country of Japan, will, as a shadow follows a form, guard anyone who has firm faith in this Lotus Sutra and who remains at all times stalwart and unwavering in that faith. Think of this, think of this, never let your mind stray, be firm in faith at all times, and you will “enjoy peace and security in your present existence and good circumstances in future existences.”

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
 Whatever kind of difficulty you face, when a body is defended as they meet, all Buddha, heavenly god and all of gods explaining a Buddha in all scriptures as the beginning promise an ascetic of a Lotus Sutra like the shadow.
Without doubting this thing, it's deep, and it's believed, and, "Because there is divine protection of gods certainly, I don't become timid and confront difficulty, and it's broken certainly.", it's important to carry belief out.

 Others do that and train oneself, and you thinks of a heart of mercy, and can be also the person it's possible to send. This is the way where you attain to the Buddhahood.
 Thus a person through belief can have a peaceful and wide heart. And it's also possible to be changing difficulty like a hell to earth of logic and wisdom by own belief and effort.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
