English Translations

" The Problem to Be Pondered Night and Day "

In the light of the above points, this shows my followers, cut short your sleep by night and curtail your leisure by day and ponder this! You must not spend your lives in vain and regret it for ten thousand years to come.

"The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin", Vol.1, P 622

Interpretation (liberal translation)

The person of the same discipline of Nichiren-Buddhism cuts off a sleep at night you accomplish world peace, and how you can save every human on the earth [ or = Kosen-rufu is made ] , and consider this without time at noon.
You aren't supposed to spend the lifetime in vain and repent in case of the end.
