人是れを用いず機に叶はずと云えども強いて法華経の五字の題名を聞かすべきなり - Although the people may not heed it or may say that it does not suit their capacity, one should nevertheless persist in expounding to them the five-character title of the Lotus Sutra.

人是れ（ひと これ）を用（もち）いず 機（き）に叶（かな）はずと云（い）えども 強（し）いて法華経の五字の題名（だいみょう）を聞かすべきなり、是ならでは 仏になる道はなきが 故（ゆえ）なり

通解

人が用いず、機根（きこん）に合わないといっても、あえて法華経（妙法蓮華経）の五字の題名を聞かせるべきである。これでなくては、仏になる道はないからである。
