只南無妙法蓮華経とだにも唱へ奉らば滅せぬ罪やあるべき来らぬ福や有るべき、真実なり甚深なり是を信受すべし

通解（意訳）
　
ただ南無妙法蓮華経とだけでも唱えるならば、消滅しない罪があるはずはなく、訪れて来ない幸福があるはずもない。この法門のみが唯一、真実の法であり、極めて深い法であるから、この大法を信受するべきである。

 If only you chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, then what offense could fail to be eradicated? What blessing could fail to come? This is the truth, and it is of great profundity. You should believe and accept it.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
 If you even chant "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo ", your sin becomes extinct certainly, and prosperity comes certainly.
 Only this Nichiren Buddhism is true and is a very deep law. Only this excellent law should be believed.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
