法華経の肝心たる 南無妙法蓮華経の大白法（だいびゃくほう）の 一閻浮提（いちえんぶだい）の内・八万の国あり 其の（その）国国（くにぐに）に八万の王あり 王王ごとに 臣下（しんか）並びに 万民（ばんみん）までも 今 日本国（にほんごく）に弥陀称名（みだ しょうみょう）を 四衆（ししゅう）の口口（くちぐち）に唱うるがごとく 広宣流布せさせ給うべきなり

法華経の肝心である、南無妙法蓮華経の大白法が一閻浮提（全世界）に弘まる。
この一閻浮提の中には八万の国があり、それらの八万国に八万の国主がいる。
国主ごとに、その家臣からすべての国民までも、今の日本の衆生が邪法を唱えているように、南無妙法蓮華経が広宣流布するのである。


意訳

法華経の一門一句をすべて収めた、「南無妙法蓮華経」という真実の大法（本門の本尊）が、世界広宣流布するのである。
全世界のすべての国々の国主からその国民まで、（本門の題目である）南無妙法蓮華経と唱えるようになるのは、今（大聖人在世の鎌倉時代）の日本の民は邪法を唱えているが、皆が南無妙法蓮華経と唱えるように変わるだけでなく、全世界の人々が南無妙法蓮華経と唱えるようになり、全世界に広宣流布するのである。

The great pure Law of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, the heart and core of the Lotus Sutra, will surely spread and be widely declared throughout the land of Jambudvīpa—with its eighty thousand kingdoms, their eighty thousand rulers, and the ministers and people in the domain of each ruler—just as the name of Amida is now chanted by the mouths of the priests, nuns, laymen, and laywomen in Japan.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
A true immutable law called "Nam-myoho-renge-kyo" where I put all of Lotus Sutras in spreads through the world.
From the king of all countries of the whole world to the nation, as for Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and the one which come to chant it, the Japanese people of (The Kamakura era of the Nichiren-Daishonin lifetime) chant evil doctrine now, but not only one change so that everybody chants it with Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, but also people of the whole world come to chant it with Nam-myoho-renge-kyo and do Kosen-rufu in the world.

湿れる木より火を出し乾ける土より水を儲けんが如く強盛に申すなり - praying as earnestly as though to produce fire from damp wood, or to obtain water from parched ground.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
