世間の・すぎえぬ・やうばし歎いて人に聞かせ給うな、若しさるならば賢人には・はづれたる事なり


崇峻天皇御書（三種財宝御書）（１１７３頁）　建治３年９月
通解
　
世間が過ごしにくいようなことを嘆いて、人に愚痴を聞かせてはならない。もし、そのようなことをするならば、賢人から外れて、愚人となってしまう事になる。

意訳
　
苦しい曲面に直面したり、辛い状況にあったとしても、その事を人に愚痴をこぼしてまわるような、愚かな振舞いをしてはならない。
もし、そのような振舞いを行ってしまえば、「あの人は愚痴っぽい人だ」と人から言われるようになってしまい、自ら自分を悪道へ陥れ、いずれ退転に結び付く原因を作ってしまうからである。

法華経の行者であるならば、苦しい状況下にあっても、負けじと前進していく姿を見せて、「さすがは信心をしている人だ」と言われる振舞いをしていきなさい。
　
　
English Translations

" The Three Kinds of Treasure "
　
Do not go around lamenting to others how hard it is for you to live in this world. To do so is an act utterly unbecoming to a worthy man.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
Even if you face it in the painful curved surface and meet the hard situation, you aren't supposed to do the stupid stand which spills a complaint to a person, and goes around the thing.
If you do such behavior, you come to say "He's always talking about only a complaint." And it's because one is entrapped by myself and the cause related to distraction eventually is made.

"A complaint will promote its weak heart, and is in of a delay." [ Guidance from Teacher  Ikeda. ]

 A believer of Nichiren Buddhism , show the form that you're moving ahead while also chanting the daimoku of the painful situation, and do the behavior to which you say "He believing in Nichiren Buddhism is a wonderful." from others.
