法華経が、仏教の中で最も優れている理由は、「あらゆる生命の中に仏性が存在する」ということが、法華経の如来寿量品第十六に説かれているからである。

 The Lotus Sutra surpasses all the other sacred teachings of the Buddha’s lifetime because of the “Life Span” chapter.
[ That reason is explained by "Life Span" to read "the Buddha nature exists in all lives. ]

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
