あへて法華経の御とがにては候べからず - It is in no sense the fault of the Lotus Sutra.

御いのりの叶い候はざらんは 弓の つよくして つる よはく・太刀 つるぎ にて・つかう人の臆病なるやうにて候べし、あへて法華経の 御とが にては候べからず

　祈りが叶わないのは、法華経という強い弓があっても、それを信じる心という弓のつるが弱く、妙法の利剣という最強の剣があっても、相手に立ち向かおうとせず、臆病であっては意味が無いようなものである。

　このように、信心で自身の仏界を涌現させ、勇気と智慧を引き出そうという姿勢がないからであって、祈りが叶わないのは、決して法華経のせいではないのである。

 The fact that her prayers have gone unanswered is like a strong bow with a weak bowstring, or a fine sword in the hands of a coward. It is in no sense the fault of the Lotus Sutra.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
 The reason why your prayer does not come true, Even if it has the strong bow called the Lotus Sutra, this is because bowstring called the faith is weak, or even if the coward who is not going to confront an enemy has the strongest sword called the sword of Myoho, the sword is useless.
 In this way, that person do not to draws to oneself courage and wisdom by the faith. It is never result of the Lotus Sutra not to have prayer realized.
