よき弟子をもつときんば師弟・仏果にいたり・あしき弟子をたくはひぬれば師弟・地獄にをつといへり、

してい そうい せば なにごと も なす べからず

通解（意訳）
師匠がよい弟子を持つのであれば、師弟は共に成仏を成し遂げることができるが、悪い弟子を養うのであれば、師弟ともに地獄に堕ちるといわれている。師匠と弟子の心が違えば何事も成就することはできないのである。

- すべては後継の弟子で決まる
師弟とは、弟子の自覚の問題です。形式ではない。師匠に何回、会ったとか、そばにいるとか、幹部だとか、それは形式です。たとえ師匠から離れた地にいようとも、直接話をしたことがなくても、自分が弟子の「自覚」をもって、「師匠の言う通りに実践するのだ」と戦っていれば、それが師弟相対です。根幹は、師匠対自分です。英語で御書

- All is decided in disciple of the succession.
What's called teacher and disciple is a problem of the awareness of the disciple side, it is never a form.
How many times did you meet a teacher, are you near a teacher, do you brag of being an executive, All these are only forms.
Even if a disciple was in the remote place from a teacher, or even if disciple have not talked directly, the disciple have to be awareness that you are disciple of the teacher.
The true form of the teacher and disciple practices the instruction of the teacher, and a disciple fighting out for Kosen-Rufu is the relative the teacher and disciple.
The underlying thing of the teacher and disciple is the awareness that a disciple is directly connected to with a teacher.
