法華経と申す御経は身心の諸病の良薬なり、されば経に云く「此の経は則ち為 閻浮提の人の病の良薬なり 若し 人 病有らんに 是の経を聞くことを得 ば病即消滅して不老不死ならん」等云云
ほけきょう と もうす おきょう は しんしん の しょびょう の りょうやく なり、されば きょう に いわく「この きょう は すなわち これ えんぶだい の ひと の やまい の りょうやく なり もし ひと やまい あらん に この きょう を きく こと を え ば びょうそく しょうめつ して ふろう ふし ならん」とう うんぬん

通解（意訳）
法華経という御経は身心の諸々の病の良薬である。
そうであるから、法華経薬王品第２３に「この経はすなわちこれ、閻浮提（えんぶだい＝全世界）の人の病の良薬である。もし人が病であっても、この経を聞くことができれば、病はすぐに治って、不老不死となるであろう」等とある。
法華経は、体や心の全ての病の良薬である。
毎朝夕の勤行で法華経の方便品第二、如来寿量品第十六を読み、法華経の主題である「南無妙法蓮華経」と題目を深く信じていきなさい。
自分自身も題目を唱え、病人にも題目や日蓮仏法の素晴らしさを勧め聞かせていけば、必ず病は治り、老いや死への恐怖をも希望へと変革できるであろう、と説いている。

The sutra known as the Lotus Sutra is good medicine for the various ills of body and mind.
Thus it states: “This sutra provides good medicine for the ills of the people of Jambudvīpa. If a person who has an illness is able to hear this sutra, then his illness will be wiped out and he will know neither old age nor death.”

Interpretation (liberal translation)
The Lotus Sutra is good medicine for the all ills of body and mind.
Every morning and evening, read the Lotus Sutra in Gongyo of the “Expedient Means” and “Life Span” Chapters, and chanting  the Daimoku of "Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo" which is the theme of Lotus Sutra, and believe deeply.
If you also chanting the Daimoku, and recommend to Daimoku or Nichiren-Buddhism for sick person, all diseases will surely be healed and fear of aging and death can be transformed into hope.
