小罪なれども懺悔せざれば悪道をまぬがれず、大逆なれども懺悔すれば罪きへぬ
しょうざい なれども ざんげ せざれば あくどう を まぬがれず、だいぎゃく なれども ざんげ すれば つみ きえぬ
小罪であっても懺悔しなければ、悪道を免れることはできない。しかし、大逆罪であっても、誠意を持って正法で懺悔すれば、その罪は消えるのである。
