総じて日蓮が弟子檀那・自他彼此の心なく 水魚の思を成して異体同心にして 南無妙法蓮華経と唱え奉る処を 生死一大事の血脈とは云うなり、
しかも今 日蓮が弘通する処の所詮是なり、若し然らば広宣流布の大願も叶うべき者か

通解（意訳）
総じて日蓮の弟子・壇家達が、自分と他人、あちらとこちら等と、別け隔てる心なく、水と魚が切っても切れない関係のように、皆それぞれが「広宣流布のために」という想いを同じくして、異体同心で南無妙法蓮華経と唱えたてまつるところを、生死一大事の血脈というのである。
しかも今、日蓮が弘通する日蓮仏法の一番の肝要は、この事なのである。
もし、弟子達がこの通りに実践してしていけば、広宣流布の大願も叶うに違いない。

English Gosho
All disciples and lay supporters of Nichiren should chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo with the spirit of many in body but one in mind, transcending all differences among themselves to become as inseparable as fish and the water in which they swim.
This spiritual bond is the basis for the universal transmission of the ultimate Law of life and death.
Herein lies the true goal of Nichiren’s propagation. When you are so united, even the great desire for widespread propagation can be fulfilled.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
