魔の習いは善を障えて悪を造らしむるをば 悦ぶ事に候 - It is the way of the devil to delight in obstructing good and in causing the production of evil.

法華経の行者をば 第六天の魔王の必ず障うべきにて候、十境の中の魔境此れなり
魔の習いは 善を障えて悪を造らしむるをば 悦ぶ事に候、強いて悪を造らざる者をば 力及ばずして 善を造らしむ
又 二乗の行をなす物をば・あながちに怨をなして善をすすむるなり、 又 菩薩の行をなす物をば 遮つて 二乗の行をすすむ
是後に 純円の行を一向になす者をば 兼別等に堕すなり

通解(意訳)
法華経の行者を第六天の魔王が必ず妨げるのである。天台大師が顕した「摩訶止観」にある、魔事境がこれにあたり、仏道修行の障げとなる種々の現象が起こるのである。
魔の習癖は、善い行い(善行)をしようとする者を妨げて、悪事をさせるのを悦ぶことにある。どうしても悪事を行わない者には、力が及ばずに善行をさせるが、天界・人界の六道(十界のうち、地獄界・餓鬼界・修羅界・人界・天界)に留まった善行をさせ、仏法と縁させないよう邪魔するのである。
また、法華経以外の小乗仏教(自分だけの悟りを得ようとする、声聞・縁覚界の仏教)の修行をする者には、ひたすら恨んで、仏法にまで及ばない天界・人界の善行をさせ、大乗仏教(他人にも悟りを得させようとする、菩薩界の仏道修行)をする者には、それを邪魔して、より劣った二乗仏教の修行をすすめる。
そして最後に、一切衆生に皆等しく仏性があると説いている、真の仏法である法華経を、説法通りに修行をする者には、法華経に別の教えや我見の解釈を加えたり、法華経の解釈を誤ったりした大謗法の邪法に堕とし、大悪を犯させようとするのである。
魔とは、こうして最高の善行である即身成仏をなんとしても妨げて、その人の生命境涯を下へ下へと堕とそうとするのである。

English Gosho
The votary of the Lotus Sutra is certain to be obstructed by the devil king of the sixth heaven. Among the ten objects of meditation, this corresponds to the object of diabolical functions [ by the Great Concentration and Insight ].
It is the way of the devil to delight in obstructing good and in causing the production of evil. Concerning those whom he cannot force to perform evil acts, he is helpless and is capable only of allowing them to create good.
Those who carry out the practices of the two vehicles, he hates unreservedly; he urges them to perform a lesser good.
Those who carry out the practices of the bodhisattva, he hinders by encouraging in the direction of the practice of the two vehicles.
And lastly, if there is someone who practices the pure and perfect teaching exclusively, he will topple that person into the perfect teaching that is combined with the specific teaching.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
With the nature of the devil.
The devil disturbs the person who is going to do a good deed and is pleased with letting you do an evil deed.
However, the power of the devil does not extend and lets the person do the good deed that remained in the six paths of the worlds to come for the people of the world of heaven, the world of humanity to the person who does not perform an evil deed how either.
And the devil disturbs so that the person does not let you make Buddhism and a relationship[; In the Ten world of living beings; The world of Hell, Hunger, Animal, Anger, Human, Heaven, Learning, Realization, Bodhisattva and the world of Buddhahood].
 Furthermore, the devil bears a grudge to a person training itself of the Hinayana Buddhism [ Buddhism of the Learning or Buddhism of the Realization,  there are get to attaining to the Buddhahood only for oneself ] except the Lotus Sutra earnestly and lets you do a good deed of the world of heaven, the world of  human that is inferior to Buddhism.
And, the devil advises a person doing Mahayanist Buddhism [; Buddhist doctrine ascetic practices of the Bodhisattva world who is going to let another person get to attaining to the Buddhahood ] about ascetic practices of Hinayana Buddhism inferior to it.
Finally, for the Buddhist ascetic of the Lotus Sutra that is the true Buddhism that Buddha preached when everybody has the Buddha-nature to all creatures equally, The devil gives different teaching and the interpretation of the egocentric opinion to a Lotus Sutra and lets evil doctrine of the great disobeying Buddha's teachings that misunderstood the Lotus Sutra corrupt.
The devil is going to let a person training itself in a Lotus Sutra obediently do a great evil in this way, and they disturb attaining to the Buddhahood which is the best good deed with the devil in this way somehow or other and let the human life circumstances corrupt.
