南無妙法蓮華経は師子吼の如し・いかなる病さはりをなすべきや - Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like the roar of a lion. What sickness can therefore be an obstacle?

日蓮守護たる処の御本尊を・したため参らせ候事も師子王に・をとるべからず、経に云く「師子奮迅之力」とは是なり、又此の曼荼羅能く能く信ぜさせ給うべし、南無妙法蓮華経は師子吼の如し・いかなる病さはりをなすべきや、鬼子母神・十羅刹女・法華経の題目を持つものを守護すべしと見えたり、さいはひは愛染の如く福は毘沙門の如くなるべし

通解（意訳）
　
日蓮が御本尊を書き認めるにあたっても、師子王に劣らぬ姿勢によって書き顕したものである。法華経湧出品にある「師子奮迅の力」とは、このような姿勢を意味するのである。
また、この曼荼羅をよくよく信じていきなさい。南無妙法蓮華経は師子吼のようなものである。どのような病気も、仏界を涌現させる障害になることができようか。「必ず病気は治る」と、師子吼のような題目をあげて、強く祈っていきなさい。
　鬼女母神や十羅刹女が、法華経の題目を持つ者を守護すると見える。幸いは愛染明王のようであり、福運はは毘沙門天のように、必ず病を克服し、福運を授かるであろう。

" Reply to Kyō’ō "
　
 In inscribing this Gohonzon for her protection, Nichiren was like the lion king. This is what the sutra means by “the power [of the Buddhas] that has the lion’s ferocity.”
 Believe in this mandala with all your heart. Nam-myoho-renge-kyo is like the roar of a lion. What sickness can therefore be an obstacle?
 It is written that those who embrace the daimoku of the Lotus Sutra will be protected by the Mother of Demon Children and by the ten demon daughters. Such persons will enjoy the happiness of the wisdom king Craving-Filled and the good fortune of the heavenly king Vaishravana.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
 When Nichiren writes and publicizes Gohonzon, it's written by spirit like the Lion King and it's publicized.Such spirit is meant with "The Power of the Lion King" in the Lotus Sutra.
 Believe this Mandala carefully." Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo" is something like a " lion's roar";This word is called "Shishi-ku"; Shall every kind of sickness be able to be in the way which holds Buddha nature?
 Be convinced "I get over her sickness certainly." and chant the Daimoku like a "Shishiku". When doing that, all goodness gods defend her, and she cures sickness certainly, becomes happy and probably receives good fortune.
