妙とは蘇生の義なり 蘇生と申すは蘇る義なり

通解（意訳）
（南無妙法蓮華経の）妙とは蘇生の意味である。
蘇生とは、悩んで苦しんでいる心や生命が蘇るということである。
  • 妙とは蘇生の義なりの実証を示す
「生死」の問題は、「こうなっています。こういう理屈です」と言うだけでは、解決しない。
悲嘆にくれている。涙にむせんでいる、固く心を閉ざしている―その人のために、身を粉にし、誠実を尽くしてこそ、心を「蘇生」させられる。
「妙とは蘇生の義なり」の実証が出るのです。

英語で御書
Gosho in English
Myō means to revive, that is, to return to life.
" The Daimoku of the Lotus Sutra "

Interpretation (liberal translation) 
Resuscitation means that the troubled and suffering body and mind is revive.
"Myō : 妙" , This is the character of the Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo.
  • Demonstration the proof of the "Myō means to revive."
The problem of "life and death" cannot be solved simply by saying "This is what it is. This is the reason."
Grieving, In tears, Thightly closed heart -
Only by crushing yourself and doing your best for that person can you "revive" that person's heart.
There is a demonstration the "Myō means to revive."

湿れる木より火を出し乾ける土より水を儲けんが如く強盛に申すなり - praying as earnestly as though to produce fire from damp wood, or to obtain water from parched ground.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
