この南無妙法蓮華経の信心というものは、少しも我見なく、経文や御書、師匠の手本をそのまま自分の指針として信心に励む事である。他人の言動に左右され、それを手本にせず、法華経の教えに背くことがなければ、必ず仏に成るのである。

 Faith in this sutra means that you will surely attain Buddhahood if you are true to the entirety of the Lotus Sutra, adhering exactly to its teachings without adding any of your own ideas or following the arbitrary interpretations of others.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
 Faith of this Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo of Nichiren Buddhism.
One isn't modeled on a selfish view to faith. Telling of a Lotus Sutra, Gosho and a teacher, it's to apply oneself to belief as the model.
 When there are no cases that you aren't influenced by others' opinion and disobey a Lotus Sutra, you can attaining to the Buddhahood certainly.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
