通解（意訳）
　
災事は口から出て、自身の身を破る。幸福は心から出て、自身を飾る。
悪口を言えば、そのまま自分に返ってきて、自分自身に災難を呼び寄せる元となる。
誠意と真心からの振舞いは、幸福を呼び寄せて、どのような宝玉よりも自分自身を輝かせる事ができるのである。

  Misfortune comes from one’s mouth and ruins one, but fortune comes from one’s heart and makes one worthy of respect.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
　
　When saying bad things, it'll be the cause which summons trouble to itself.
Sincere behavior summons happiness to yourself. And it's possible to be able to brighten yourself than a however wonderful jewels.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
