通解（意訳）
　
我が門下生は、夜は眠りを断ち、昼は暇なく「人々を正法に目覚めさせる為（＝広宣流布の為）に自分に何ができるか」を思案しなさい。一生を空しく過ごして、後生・万歳（来世以降１万年）に渡って悔やしく思うようであってはならない。

 In the light of the above points [ "What can I do to make people wake up in just law?" ], this shows my followers, cut short your sleep by night and curtail your leisure by day and ponder this!
 You must not spend your lives in vain and regret it for ten thousand years to come.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
