さきざきよりも百千万億倍・御用心あるべし。
日蓮は少（わかき）より 今生の いのり なし 只 仏にならんと をもふ 計りなり、されども殿の御事をば・ひまなく法華経・釈迦仏・日天に申すなり 其の故は法華経の命を継ぐ人なればと思うなり。
さきざきよりも百千万億倍・御用心あるべし。

通解（意訳）以前より百千万億倍、用心していきなさい。
日蓮は若い時から、自分の今生の繁栄を祈ったことはない。ただ仏になろうと思うばかりであった。しかし、あなた方弟子達の事は、絶えず法華経、釈迦仏、日天子に祈っている。それは、あなた方が法華経の命を継ぎ、後世に伝えるという使命がある人だと思うからである。
日蓮は若い時から、自分の今生の繁栄を祈ったことはない。ただ仏になろうと思うばかりであった。しかし、あなた方弟子達の事は、絶えず法華経、釈迦仏、日天子に祈っている。それは、あなた方が法華経の命を継ぎ、後世に伝えるという使命がある人だと思うからである。

be millions of times more careful than ever.
Since childhood, I, Nichiren, have never prayed for the secular things of this life but have single-mindedly sought to become a Buddha.
Of late, however, I have been ceaselessly praying for your sake to the Lotus Sutra, Shakyamuni Buddha, and the god of the sun, for I am convinced that you are a person who can inherit the soul of the Lotus Sutra.
