よくよく心して、揺らぎやすい自身の心を、師匠の教えを自身の心の師匠とはしても、自分のわがままな心や臆病な心など、自分の心を師匠としてはならない。

Interpretation (liberal translation)
You seem to make the teaching of the teacher the model of your heart, and understand it.

You must never make one's selfish heart or a coward heart a model.
