地涌の菩薩にさだまりなば釈尊久遠の弟子たる事あに疑はんや - if you are a Bodhisattva of the Earth, there is not the slightest doubt that you have been a disciple of Shakyamuni Buddha from the remote past.

いかにも今度・信心をいたして法華経の行者にてとをり、日蓮が一門となりとをし給うべし、日蓮と同意ならば地涌の菩薩たらんか、地涌の菩薩にさだまりなば釈尊久遠の弟子たる事あに疑はんや

通解（意訳）
今世で信心をはじめたからには、法華経の行者としての使命を貫き通し、日蓮の弟子として生き抜きなさい。

日蓮と同じこころざしであるならば、地涌の菩薩であろうか。地涌の菩薩であると定まっているならば、釈尊の久遠の弟子であるという事をどうして疑うことができるだろうか。

English Gosho
 Now, no matter what, strive in faith and be known as a votary of the Lotus Sutra, and remain my disciple for the rest of your life.
 If you are of the same mind as Nichiren, you must be a Bodhisattva of the Earth. And if you are a Bodhisattva of the Earth, there is not the slightest doubt that you have been a disciple of Shakyamuni Buddha from the remote past.
