「若し毀謗せん者は頭七分に破れ若し供養せん者は福十号に過ぎん」等云云、釈の心は末代の法華経の行者を供養するは十号を具足しまします如来を供養したてまつるにも其の功徳すぎたり、又濁世に法華経の行者あらんを留難をなさん人は頭七分にわるべし

通解（意訳）
　
「若しこの法華経を毀謗する人は頭が七分に破れ、若し供養する人は、その福は仏の十号に過ぎるであろう」［若悩乱者頭破七分・有供養者福過十号］と述べている。
この解釈のは、末代の法華経の行者を供養することは、十号を具足された仏を供養するよりも、その功徳が勝れているということである。また五濁悪世に出現した法華経の行者に対して迫害する人々は、頭が七分に破れるということである。

　この二つの文は、私達が受持している曼荼羅の、「南無妙法蓮華経」の七字の左右に書いてあります。
　
　
English Translations

" Letter to the Lay Nun of Kō "
　
“Those who slander [the practitioners of the Lotus Sutra] will have their heads split into seven pieces, but those who give alms to them will enjoy good fortune surpassing the ten honorable titles.”*
 The meaning of this commentary is that the blessings from making offerings to a votary of the Lotus Sutra in the latter age exceed even those from making offerings to a Thus Come One endowed with the ten honorable titles, while those who persecute a votary of the Lotus Sutra in the defiled age will have their heads split into seven pieces.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
