教主釈尊とは我等衆生の事なり - Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, who said numberless major world system dust particle kalpas ago, “I am the only person [who can rescue and protect others],” refers to living beings like ourselves.

　法華経の行者になったなら、永遠に生死を繰り返してきた凡夫の生命に本来備わっている、無限の可能性を秘めた仏の境涯を開く事ができる。妙法の当体である御本尊は自分自身の胸中に存在している仏性である事を自覚し、信心を深く奮い起こしていくことで、何ものにも破壊されることない「絶対的な幸福境涯」を確立できるのである。
　この仏の境涯は、一切衆生に等しく備わっているのだから、どうして釈尊の仏の境涯と異なることがあろうか。
　過去久遠五百塵点、唯我一人の教主釈尊とは、末法に涌現する地涌の菩薩の上首・上行菩薩の日蓮大聖人であり、日蓮門下である我ら地涌の菩薩なのである。
我ら凡夫の生命の変化の内に仏界が備わっているという「一念三千の法理」の生命哲学を、一切衆生に常に説いていく事が地涌の菩薩の使命であり、広宣流布の振舞いなのである。

 -本文の読み方-
無の始めから生死を繰り返してきた身心、是れには元（本）から、仏性が内在しているという理り（ことわり＝法理）が備わっている。（無始色心・本是理性、むし しきしん・ほん ぜ りしょう）
　妙法で仏の境涯を開き、妙法とは自身に備わっている仏性である事を智覚し（妙境・妙智、みょうきょう・みょうち）、金剛不滅（こんごうふめつ）の仏性を開いた身心が、どうして、かの釈迦仏の仏性と異なることがあろうか。
　過去 久遠五百塵点の当初（くおん ごひゃく じんてん の そのかみ）、唯我一人（ゆいが いちにん）の教主釈尊とは、我々衆生のことである。これが法華経の一念三千の法門であり、我々、地涌の菩薩が仏の境涯を開いて、此の地に常住し、成仏するための正法を説いていく（常住此説法・じょうじゅう し せっぽう）、広宣流布という振舞いに当たるのである。

" The Izu Exile "
　
 Living beings like ourselves have dwelt in the sea of the sufferings of birth and death since time without beginning. But they become votaries of the Lotus Sutra, and realize that their bodies and minds, which have existed since the beginningless past, are inherently endowed with the eternally unchanging nature; awaken to their mystic reality with their mystic wisdom; and attain the Buddha’s body, which is as indestructible as a diamond. How then could they be different from that Buddha?
 Shakyamuni Buddha, the lord of teachings, who said numberless major world system dust particle kalpas ago, “I am the only person [who can rescue and protect others],” refers to living beings like ourselves. This is the Lotus Sutra’s teaching of three thousand realms in a single moment of life, and the action of “I am always here, preaching the Law.”
