法華の行者をやしなうは慈悲の中の大慈悲の米穀なるべし、
一切衆生を利益するなればなり、
故に仏舎利変じて米と成るとは是なるべし
ほっけのぎょうじゃをやしなうはじひのなかのだいじひのべいこくなるべし、
いっさいしゅじょうをりやくするなればなり、
ゆえにぶっしゃりへんじてこめとなるとはこれなるべし

通解（意訳）
法華経の行者に供養する米穀（食物）は、大慈悲の米となるであろう。なぜなら、法華経の行者は、一切衆生を妙法の功力によって恩恵を与える（＝利益する）、広宣流布の実践をされているからである。
 仏舎利は、一切衆生を法力によって恩恵を与えたと言われている。「仏舎利変じて米と成る」とは、その仏舎利が変じて、米穀はあらゆる衆生を利益するのである。
＊寿司の米などを「シャリ」と呼ぶのは、この「仏舎利」が由来のようです。

This is what is meant by the Buddha’s relics turning into rice.

As for calling rice of the sushi;"Shari", these Buddha's relics;"仏舎利 Bud-sha-ri " are like the origin.

湿れる木より火を出し乾ける土より水を儲けんが如く強盛に申すなり - praying as earnestly as though to produce fire from damp wood, or to obtain water from parched ground.
