日蓮が一類は 異体同心なれば 人人 すくなく 候へども 大事を成じて・一定 法華経 ひろまりなん と 覚へ候、
悪は多けれども 一善に かつ事なし、譬へば 多くの火 あつまれども 一水には きゑぬ 
にちれん が いちるい は いだいどうしん なれば ひとびと すくなく そうらえども だいじ を なして・いちじょう ほけきょう ひろまりなん と おぼえ そうろう、
あく は おおけれども いちぜん に かつ こと なし、たとえば おおく の ひ あつまれども いっすい には きえぬ

通解（意訳）
日蓮の一門は異体同心（いたいどうしん・人数は少ないが心は一つである）であるから、人数は少ないけれども、広宣流布という大事を成し遂げ、必ず法華経は広まるであろうと思うのである。
悪は多くても、一善に勝つことはない。例えば、多くの火が集まっても、たった一水（一度の雨）で消えてしまうようなものである。
*異体同心を英語に訳すと、 "Many in Body, One in Mind." （多くの体に、一つの意思）となります。

Although Nichiren and his followers are few, because they are different in body, but united in mind *, they will definitely accomplish their great mission of widely propagating the Lotus Sutra.
Though evils may be numerous, they cannot prevail over a single great truth, just as many raging fires are quenched by a single shower of rain. This principle also holds true with Nichiren and his followers.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
*Different in body, but united in Mind:" I-TAI-DO-SHIN; 異 体 同 心 ",
this word of " SHIN " in Japanese that meaning in English " The Heart ".
