ね ふかければ は かれず・いづみに 玉あれば 水 たえず と 申すやうに・御信心の ね の ふかく・いさぎよき玉の 心のうちに・わたらせ給うか、たうとし たうとし
根 深ければ 葉 枯れず・泉に たま あれば みず 絶えず と もうす ように・ご信心 の 根の深く・いさぎよき たま の こころ の 内に・わたらせ たもうか、尊し、尊し
根が深ければ葉は枯れず、泉に玉があれば水が絶えないと言われている。信心も同じであり、どれほど強い風が草をなびかせようとしても、信心の根が深く張っているならば、倒れることはない。また心の中に信心の玉が輝いていれば、絶えず功徳の水が湧き出るのである。
あなたの心の中に、潔い清らかな信心の玉が輝いているからであろうか。まことに尊いことである。

通解（意訳）根が深ければ葉は枯れず、泉に玉があれば水が絶えないと言われている。信心も同じであり、どれほど強い風が草をなびかせようとしても、信心の根が深く張っているならば、倒れることはない。また心の中に信心の玉が輝いていれば、絶えず功徳の水が湧き出るのである。
あなたの心の中に、潔い清らかな信心の玉が輝いているからであろうか。まことに尊いことである。
