通解（意訳）
（功徳とは）揺るぎない幸福境涯の確立である。功とは悪を滅することであり、徳とは善を生ずることである。
功徳とは即身成仏であり、六根清浄である。
功徳とは、信心の実践に励むことによって、私たちの生命を覆う煩悩や苦悩などの悪を消滅させ、智慧や安楽などの善を生み出すことであり、自身の宿命転換、人間革命で、絶対的な幸福境涯を確立すること、すなわち成仏が、最高・最大の功徳である。
六根清浄とは、目・耳・鼻・舌・身（皮膚）と意（心）という六つの感覚・認識器官、すなわち生命の全体が浄化され、本来もっている働きを十分に発揮できることである。
法華経の経文の通りに修行することを、六根清浄と心得るべきである。

Gosho in English
The element ku in the word kudoku*means good fortune or happiness. It also refers to the merit achieved by wiping out evil, while the element toku or doku refers to the virtue one acquires by bringing about good.
Thus the word kudoku means to attain Buddhahood in one’s present form. It also means the purification of the six sense organs.
You should understand that to practice the Lotus Sutra as the sutra itself directs is to carry out purification of the six sense organs.
*ku-doku "功徳"; Japanese words is meaning "The Benefit of The Faith".

Interpretation (liberal translation) 
"The Benefit of The Faith".
The benefit occurs by your working hard at practice of the faith.
Ku becomes extinct with the evil such as worldly desires or the suffering to cover up our life.
Toku or Doku is to bring about good such as wisdom or the comfort. It accomplishes Changing Karma and Human Revolution, and it means that you establish absolute happy circumstances.
In other words, Attainning to the Buddahood is the best of benefit.

"The purification of the six senses".

It is your eyes, ear, nose, tongue, body (skin) and will (heart), these six senses or recognition organs. It is meaning the whole of the life is purified and can show the work that life originally has enough.
