此の法華経計りに此の経を持つ女人は一切の女人に・すぎたるのみならず一切の男子に・こえたりとみえて候

通解（意訳）
この法華経にのみ、「この経を受持する女性は、他の一切の女性に優れているだけでなく、一切の男性にも超えている」と、説かれているのである。

 Only in the Lotus Sutra do we read that a woman who embraces this sutra not only excels all other women, but also surpasses all men.
