命をば三千大千世界にても買はぬ物にて候 - Life is something that cannot be purchased even for the price of an entire major world system.
本文
命をば三千大千世界にても買はぬ物にて候と仏は説かせ給へり、
米は命を継ぐ物なり 譬えば米は油の如く 命は燈の如し、
法華経は燈の如く 行者は油の如し
命というものは、全宇宙の財宝をもってしても買うことができないものであると、仏は説かれている。
（ご供養として頂いた）米は、命を継ぐものである。譬えていえば、米は油で、命は燈火のようなものであり、命という燈火が途切れないように、お米という油を足すのである。
これと同じように、法華経は燈火であり、法華経の行者は油のようなものである。法華経の行者という油がなければ、法華経という教えは途絶えてしまうのである。

通解（意訳）命というものは、全宇宙の財宝をもってしても買うことができないものであると、仏は説かれている。
