仮令 強言なれども 人をたすくれば実語・軟語なるべし - Even though one may resort to harsh words, if such words help the person to whom they are addressed, then they are worthy to be regarded as truthful words and gentle words.

通解(意訳)
 たとえ、強い口調て荒い言葉であっても、相手のことを心から思って言った言葉で、その人を助ければ、それは真実の言葉(実語)であり、柔らく優しい言葉(軟語)である。

 逆にたとえ柔らかい口調で優しい言葉であっても、相手を悪い道へ落とし込み、道を間違わせてしまえば、それは偽りの言葉(妄語)であり、強く荒い言葉(強言)である。

 Even though one may resort to harsh words, if such words help the person to whom they are addressed, then they are worthy to be regarded as truthful words and gentle words.

 Similarly, though one may use gentle words, if they harm the person to whom they are addressed, they are in fact deceptive words, harsh words.
