過去に 法華経の 結縁 強盛なる故に 現在に此の経を受持す、未来に仏果を成就せん事 疑 有るべからず、過去の生死・現在の生死・未来の生死・三世の生死に法華経を離れ切れざるを法華の血脈相承とは云うなり

通解（意訳）
過去世において、強盛に法華経を信受してきたことが縁となって、現世でこの法華経を受持したのである。来世においても法華経と縁し、仏果を成就することは疑う余地がない。

過去、現在、未来と、三世の生死に渡って、法華経から離れず受持し続けることを、法華経の血脈相承というのである。

English Gosho  My followers are now able to accept and uphold the Lotus Sutra because of the strong ties they formed with it in their past existences. They are certain to obtain the fruit of Buddhahood in the future. The heritage of the Lotus Sutra flows within the lives of those who never forsake it in any lifetime whatsoever—whether in the past, the present, or the future.

蒼蝿驥尾に附して万里を渡り 碧蘿松頭に懸りて千尋を延ぶ - A blue fly, if it clings to the tail of a thoroughbred horse, can travel ten thousand miles, and the green ivy that twines around the tall pine can grow to a thousand feet.
