これより ぐ して・いたらん人には よりて法門 御聴聞 有るべし 互に師弟と為らんか
これより ぐ して・いたらん ひと には よりて ほうもん ごちょうもん ある べし たがい に してい と ならんか
遠い本土から、わざわざ佐渡まで日蓮を訪ねてきた弟子が、法門を聞いて帰ってきたなら、自分の年齢や信心の長さ、深さに関係なく、直接日蓮から法門を聴くのだと心得て、よく法門を聴くようにしていきなさい。そうすれば、互いに師弟の関係となって、よき同志となっていくであろう。

通解（意訳）遠い本土から、わざわざ佐渡まで日蓮を訪ねてきた弟子が、法門を聞いて帰ってきたなら、自分の年齢や信心の長さ、深さに関係なく、直接日蓮から法門を聴くのだと心得て、よく法門を聴くようにしていきなさい。そうすれば、互いに師弟の関係となって、よき同志となっていくであろう。

Interpretation (liberal translation)If one disciple who came to Nichiren from the distant mainland to Sado listens to the teachings of Hokke Sutra, and that disciple returns, should be think like that you will hear the teachings directly from Nichiren.
Listen carefully to that disciples teachings from Nichiren, regardless of their age, length or depth of faith.
Then, each other will be in a good relationship like the teacher and disciples, and become good comrades.
