今女人の御身として病を身にうけさせ給う・心みに法華経の信心を立てて御らむあるべし
にちれん はは を いのりて そうらい しかば げんしん に やまい を いやす のみ ならず しかねん の じゅみょう を のべたり、

通解（意訳）
日蓮が、自分の母の重病を祈ったところ、現実の身体の病を治しただけでなく、四年の寿命を延ばし、病気という宿業を打開したのである。
今、あなた（富木尼御前）は、女性の身として病気になられた。試しに、女人成仏を唯一説いている法華経の信心を発して、修行してごらんなさい。

When I prayed for my mother, not only was her illness cured, but her life was prolonged by four years. [; and She broke the karma called the disease.]
Now you too have fallen ill, and as a woman*, it is all the more timely for you to establish steadfast faith in the Lotus Sutra and to see what it will do for you.

Interpretation (liberal translation)
"Now you too have fallen ill, and as a woman*"
In the Buddhism except the Lotus Sutra preaches that the women and the criminal persons cannot attain to the Buddhahood.
But, Only a Lotus Sutra preaches that the women nor the criminal persons, all peoples can attain to the Buddhahood.
